Jiyeon did a wonderful job recruiting me. She set me up with a nice school, kind director and better than average apartment. I was always paid on time and everything went smoothly. Not only did Jiyeon pick me up at the bus station and help me move into my apartment, but she also befriended me and introduced me to some of the most wonderful people I have ever met. I have known Jiyeon for 2.5 years now, and I can attest that she helps foreigners with any issues that arise and keeps in close contact with her recruits throughout their stay in South Korea.
Here is the link to the article that was done on me during my goodbye party. They also said it was my birthday, which it wasn't, but aside from the grammatical errors and such, I was pretty pleased with it.

Making the decision to work in Korea is daunting. If It wasn't for the Korean Teaching Adventure Recruiting Agency I don't know if I would have made it through my two years in Korea.
Ms. Byeon is more then just a recruiter. She truly cares about the teachers she recruits. Ms. Byeon listens to the needs and requests of her teachers. She works hard to help make the transition of moving to Korea as smooth as possible. Jiyeon Byeon is not the type of recruiter who works only for the schools. She workes hard to match good schools with good teachers.
Finally, Ms. Jiyeon Byeon is intelligent, capable, dedicated, and personable. Jiyeon will always be straight forward and honest. I highly recommend Korean Teaching Adventure Recruiting Agency.

I am writing to confirm that Jiyeon Byeon was my recruiter for West English College in Gaeshin-Dong, Cheongju, South Korea.
Jiyeon was very thorough and organised with every detail, from the beginning to the end, of processing my position at West English College. She was very attentive to my wants and needs in my contract. She also ensured my visa, flights, etc all went through smoothly. It was very easy to contact her for any queries I had, in which she answered promptly.
When I arrived in Korea, Jiyeon picked me up and took me to my new apartment, and talked with my Director to ensure I had everything I needed to be comfortable. Jiyeon was very helpful whenever I needed to know anything about living in Korea - for example - what doctor to go to, etc. She also took me to get a cellphone which would have otherwise been difficult for myself as I do not speak Korean. Because of the time we spent together, we become close friends. This made the transition to life in Korea a lot easier for me.
I would recommend the Korean Teaching Adventure Recruiting Agency to any foreigner who was looking for a job teaching English. I am very satisfied with my placement at West English College. It is really good for me to know that Jiyeon will always be there if I have any queries, or need anything.
Yours Faithfully

I have known Jiyeon Byeon for three years on both a personal and professional level. Not only did she act as my recruiter to South Korea, she also became someone whom I grew to call a friend.
Professionally she's a highly motivated, competent individual who always makes sure that the task at hand gets completed to the best of her abilities. Personally I know her to be a very compassionate individual who always has the best interest of others at heart. On the rare occasion where there have been some labour related issues with people that she has recruited, I've seen Jiyeon go above and beyond what is typically required by a recruiter to ensure that the person gets as fair a deal as possible.
Jiyeon is a solid recruiter whose services I would recommend to anyone.
Sincerely,

I had the pleasure of meeting Miss Byeon in 2003, though initially not as a recruiter. It was through Korea's many social activities I met her and came to know her well, both professionally and personally.
Recently I was able to use her professional skills, as she found me a job. She was able to get all I asked for and more. I got an above average salary, my choice of housing and control over the curriculum at a respectable school, with excellent staff and management.
Jiyeon is a fierce negotiator and really understands the needs of prospective and current teachers in Korea. A key point I would like to make is the continuity of care. I wasn't just dumped in a school and left to my own resources. Jiyeon was able to offer ongoing support, be it resources, negotiation with management, or for a quiet beer on a friday after work. This, coupled with her vast wealth of contacts, makes her the best choice for finding you a job.
Sincerely
Logan Mead In Korea 5 years thanks to Ji!
When I first decided to work in Korea, it was daunting decision. There are thousands of agencies offering the best salaries at the newest schools. I searched the net and offered my resume to several recruiting agencies. I was less than enthusiastic about my choice. Most of the agencies I had found were pushy. They wanted my documents sent quickly and tried to get me to sign contracts as soon as possible.
My experience changed completely once I found the Korean Teaching Adventure Recruiting Agency. I was introduced to Jiyeon and her company through a friend and from the beginning, she was a blessing. She walked me through the entire process. She answered my questions with honesty, introduced me to my new school before anything was decided, and took the time to get to know me. She found the school that suited my temperament and the level of adventure I sought.
I loved my school so much that I stayed for a second year. I loved Cheong Ju and plan on visiting when I get back to that side of the world. Jiyeon passed along the email addresses of her previous recruits to have my questions answered by someone who had been where I was, and I am doing the same for her next generation of teachers.
Welcome to Korea!

I have good things to say about my visit. One thing I would like to tell new people:
When you get to Korea, get a computer and get Yahoo Messenger or MSN Messenger. Get a webcam to go with it. Have your family and friends also get Messenger and keep in touch for free. Phone bills can be expensive when keeping in touch with friends and family back home. I could have bought a brand new computer with all the money I have paid in phone bills. :) Also, I would advise new people that dental costs are cheaper in Korea than in the US, so if they need dental work, go right away because some procedures take longer than others. If I had known I could afford dental work, I would have finished all of mine here. The last little bit of advice is, have fun! It's great to live in another country for a year. It's an experience I will treasure my whole life. One day, I may come back to Korea and teach with my wife. If I do, I'll go through Jiyeon and her Korean Teaching adventure Company, for sure. She was great in every way. Jiyeon is a great woman and she is great at her job. I give her the highest recommendation and rating. She was great to me.

Jiyeon is the BEST!
I am Chrisholm Davin Noble from South Africa. I've been in CheongJu City, South Korea for four months now and I am having an "absolutely fabulous" time here. Guess who my recruiter was? Jiyeon Byeon. I can only say good about Jiyeon because everything she negotiated in my contract for me, I received. This is not empty promises I can assure you.
As of the first contact I have made with Jiyeon, she was professional, concern and efficient finding the right school that would suit my profile or personality. She is not only concern about her own well-being but also the well-being of the teachers before and after placing them at a school "hagwon". Seeing that moving to South Korea is a major change in your life and because it is so different to the rest of the world, she also tries her best to make your move as easy and pleasant as possible.
Keep up the good work Jiyeon...
Sincerely,
